LISTEN: Lisa Alma Releases New Song “Fine”

Lisa Alma has released a new track entitled “Fine,” from her forthcoming album Sweater.

Sweater is the follow-up to her self-titled 2013 debut, and will be released April 21 via Dumont Dumont. Alma is a Danish artist with a Master’s degree in Theater and Performance Studies, and she has even directed one of her own music videos.

“Fine” has a 1980s-inspired synthesizer beat, overlaid with Alma’s soft vocals. The track does a great job of sounding retro and modern at the same time. Though it is a slow jam, it’s one that could easily get stuck in your head. Listen to “Fine” below.

Early last year, Alma released black-and-white music video for her track “Magic Power,” which is also not safe for work due to some nudity. That track, while very different from “Fine,” has some of the same qualities, including the synth sound and Alma’s smooth vocals. She also covered Beach House’s “Wild” in 2014, a track that is well-suited for her signature sound.
