This Is Hardcore 2015 Lineup Announced Featuring Misfits, Snapcase, And The Exploited

The 2015 lineup for This Is Hardcore was announced today. The tenth annual festival is set to feature various artists including Misfits, Snapcase, and The Exploited.

This year’s festival will take place July 23 through the 26 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tickets for the event will be available starting April 3 at 12 p.m. The available lineup below lists all the artists that will be performing in This Is Hardcore 2015 festival. According to Brooklyn Vegan, later this week a more detailed lineup with day-by-day performances will become available. Additionally, This Is Hardcore expects to reveal details for after-parties later this year. So far only the locations Underground Arts, Voltage Lounge, and KungFu Necktie have been decided.

“Thank you for the support and your patience,” Joe Hardcore wrote on an official statement on his website. “ I am very proud to have reached this moment and I hope that each of you are there with us in July to make the festival another highlight in hardcore punk.”

According to Brooklyn Vegan this show will mark special moment for many of the bands involved. This Is Hardcore 2015 will be Exploited’s first U.S. show in over a decade. Additionally, Chokehold will be performing, the group recently reunited. Also, This Is Hardcore 2015 is rumored to be Bane’s final performance. Plus, Misfits is expected to play a special set of their entire 1983 album “Earth A.D.” However, there is a good deal of controversy surrounding this decision because the current members of the Misfits are not the same ones who recorded “Earth A.D.” In a Brooklyn Vegan article about the issue, the fact that Glenn Danzig – the original vocalist and song writer – is missing is the biggest concern.
