Laura Marling Is Painting Murals Of New Album Artwork In London

Laura Marling latest album, Short Movie, came on the 23rd of this month. Marling has enlisted the help of local artists to paint the album artwork for Short Movie throughout London.

Laura was previous in Austin for SXSW. During the festival, we had a chance to sit with Laura to discuss her faith in the Law of Attraction, moving to Los Angeles and her new approach in music. You can read the full interview here.

Marling wrote her latest album in 2014 while living in Los Angeles, where she has now resided for two years. Short Movie is inspired by her time spent in the U.S., where she feels “desperately lost in translation.”

Marling took to her Facebook to announce the locations of the murals painted:

“Painting the town yellow, red and blue… now up in London.
Graham Road – Hackney
Upper Clapton Road – Crooked Billet
Shepherds Bush Road – Shepherds Bush Green
Highbury Grove – Railway Bridge”
