Does it seem like we’ve been here before, dear readers? Well, we have, but this is a different day.
The British Summer Time Festival has such a massive, fantastic lineup that we simply couldn’t cram it all into one article. The spillage was too much to offload onto the the ever-circling wheel that is entertainment news, hence why we are now here. With the June 20 date now fully locked into the memory banks, we at mxdwn are pleased to unveil the lineup for yet another day at the British Summer Time Festival taking place at the outdoor venue at Hyde Park. The lineup for the June 21st performance is locked in and ready to go, and it contains an even bigger superstar than what has been previously mentioned. The June 21st show proudly boats headliner Kylie Minogue and legendary seventies disco-rock group Chic, the latter of which will be performing with guitarist and key founding member Nile Rodgers. Chic has gathered together many times since their initial breakup in the Eighties. Nile Rodgers, though being a key member of the group, has been on stage with the group in infrequent occurrences, making Chic’s performance at this year’s festival particularly special.
