The Hunts Announce New Album Those Younger Days For June 2015 Release

Indie folk-pop sibling group, The Hunts, will be releasing their debut album Those Younger Days this summer almost a year after their first EP, Life Was Simple, was released.

In the tradition of family member bands, The Hunts are all multi-instrumentalist that have come together with a very thorough musical upbringing. Ranging between ages 17 through 25, the siblings have been a musical staple in their community, performing since they were children.

Their sound blends rural instrumentation with harmonious vocals that manage to sound sorrowful and uplifting all at the same time. Hailing from Virginia, they manage to capture all the elements of rustbelt folk with vibrant pop melodies and catchy hooks. Slightly reminiscent of Morgan Nagler project Whispertown (formerly Whispertown 2000) with a much more southern vibe, The Hunts encapsulate feel good sounds with somber undertones that really explore the roots of their musical influence while still maintaining a commercial appeal.

The album is set to release June 9th via Cherrytree Records/Interscope famous for other breakout artists Ellie Goulding and Disclosure amongst many others. The band will succeed the release with a set at the Firefly Music Festival followed by a summer tour.
