Best Spots To Dance At SXSW 2015

Some showcases are mellow, some are heavy, some are sad, some are dirty, and some are lively. For all those who just want to dance and move their hips, the Pandora Den and Fader Fort were the places to be!

Pandora Den

On Wednesday of the music festival, Pandora brought out a ton of upbeat electronic dance music artists. Their lineup consisted of Elliphant, Peking Duk, Halsey, Odesza, Lolawolf, Robert DeLong,  Griz, Gorgon City, and Cazzette. If you’re familiar with any of these artists, then you understand that it is nearly impossible not to move your hips while listening to them. The small intimate venue was filled with fans who wanted to do just that, so when the beat dropped everyone was moving and jumping to the sounds.

This year Fader Fort killed it with the lineup. They had musicians covering genres from alternative, country, hip hop, and dance. Some of their best artists to dance to were Hudson Mohawke, Miley Cyrus, Sam Hunt, Bleachers, Mike Will Made It, Kehlani, Gorgon City, Passion Pit, and more. So whether you were two stepping, fist bumping, twerking, or jumping in circles, the Fort held the ultimate dance party for all types of fans.
