Insanity in Austin this Monday, March 16, after a man stormed on stage and attempted to fight hip-hop duo Run The Jewels at Spotify House.

El-P and Killer Mike, known together as Run The Jewels, were bouncing to Banana Clipper on the SXSW Spotify House stage when a violent audience member came out of nowhere. Video footage shows him taking a swing at Killer Mike before being quickly pushed offstage. Continued footage follows the scuffle into the front row of the audience. The attacker can be seen struggling over the barrier before he is met by a group of enraged showgoers eager to get a piece of him. Killer Mike actually followed the man into the audience however and, after squaring off for a few seconds, managed to knock him out with one punch.

While it looked like the mob trying to brawl with the attacker in the audience were fans at first, a tweet by El-P himself revealed that they were actually rolling with the RTJ crew.

Check out some of the footage of the initial attack and the craziness that quickly followed. Instagram video credit goes to DJ Free Verse.

Needless to say, you can’t bring these guys down. Aside from the insanity on stage, Run The Jewels put on an impressive show at SXSW this year. They’ve been killing it in 2015 with the release of Run The Jewels 2 as well as multiple festival appearances in store including Coachella, Pitchfork, and Firefly. To add to the hype, they also recently announced that they’ve been in the studio with Massive Attack.
