Sled Island Music And Arts Festival 2015 Lineup Announced Featuring Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Drive Like Jehu And Television

Get ready, Canada! Sled Island Music and Arts Festival is back for its ninth year and has officially made its first announcement of acts. Over 250 bands are planned to perform at intimate venues all over Alberta for this 5-day fest.

Sled Island’s guest curator for this year is post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The Montreal natives are expecting the release of a new LP in the spring, which is sure to be heard during their two live performances at the Central United Church.

Other guests include Television, the influential New York City rock band from the 70s, San Diego post-hardcore rockers Drive Like Jehu, noise rock duo Lightning Bolt, experimental electric guitar duo Body/Head and more!
