We’re only three weeks out from SXSW, and Mxdwn is keeping you informed with the latest announcements about the rounds of artists that will be attending and performing at the 2015 SXSW Music Festival, taking place in Austin, TX, from Tuesday, March 17- Sunday, March 22. We’re ready again to announce that SXSW has just released their eighth round of showcasing performers.
This Seventh round release on pastemagazine.com includes the announcement of 246 names and groups bringing the total number of performers set to play to 1,943.
Some of the artists from this second list include such acts as Spoon, Tunde Adebimpe, and Steve Earle.
SXSW Music 2015 is the world’s leading music industry event, containing the best mix of musical performances from over 2,000 regional, national, and international acts by night, while exploring deeper into the music industry by day through panels, talks, the Trade Show, Music Gear Expo, and other conference activities. Nowhere else will an artist find better ways to learn networking and career-building skills from the experts, while watching over 100 stages of showcased bands.
