Flanked by miniature palm trees, tropical lights and a large pink flamingo back drop, Dr. Dog brought their rousing live performance to the Glasshouse in Pomona. The band is on tour to support their first-ever live album entitled, Live at a Flamingo Hotel.
The Philly based indie rockers didn’t waste any time in getting the post-Valentine’s Day crowd going, opening their set with “Stranger” and “I Only Wear Blue” from 2010’s Shame, Shame. The sold-out audience sang and danced throughout their sweat filled performance which consisted of tracks spanning from all of their seven studio albums. For the encore, the band took requests from the crowd which resulted in sing-along’s to “Nellie”, “Jackie Wants a Black Eye” and “Shadow People”.
