Houston’s summer starter – Free Press Summer Fest – has revealed its 2015 lineup, and it’s beyond any expectations.
Following the sold-out events for the past two years, FPSF is expanding this year, with over 75 artists performing on six stages, and great diversity of acts and styles. Announced for June 6 and 7, 2015, at Eleanor Tinsley Park in Houston, TX, the festival will include headlining sets from Skrillex, R. Kelly and Weezer, alongside the appearances by St. Vincent, Charli XCX, The Decemberists, Belle And Sebastian, Flogging Molly, Portugal. The Man and many others.
According to the press release, this year FPSF will once again up the festival experience with upgraded production (overseen by a top level team), an expanded site (now that renovations in the park are complete) with a larger footprint that spreads further east to increase mobility within the park, and city-approved extended hours on Saturday night with live music running until 11:00 PM on June 6.
This year’s FPSF blind pre-sale sold out in a record three hours. Weekend passes and travel packages are available in three tiers: General Admission, Fancy Pants, and Silk Pajamas. Tickets and additional information about ticketing options are available here and more details on travel packages can be found here.
