Run The Jewels has announced that they have been working in the studio with Massive Attack. Run the Jewels made this collaboration know via various postings to social media.
Run The Jewels’ El-P made an announcement on his twitter stating “In the studio with Massive Attack”. It did not take long before other members also confirmed this news via their social media accounts. Killer Mike posted an photo with Massive Attack on Instagram. He captioned the photo with the following, “RTJ x @MassiveAttack. Get ready.” Additionally, Killer Mike uploaded a video with the caption teaser “In studio with @massiveattack vibe’n to #BruceSpringsteen n Such. What y’all doing? What ever it is, let it be Grand y’all! Salutes.”
In addition to the announcement of this collaboration, Run The Jewels has been hard at work in 2015. The group is scheduled to appear at the Firefly Music Festival happening from June 18 to the 21. Run The Jewels will also perform at the Pitchfork Music Festival which is scheduled to for July 17 to the 19. While these two festival are highlighted, the group is scheduled for many other shows and festivals in 2015.
