Fans of Oslo Disco rejoice: Todd Terje is coming to NYC this summer, and the tickets are on sale today. The Norwegian wunderkind producer and composer released his most successful album to date, (the aptly named It’s Album Time) and he is translating that success into big festival appearances and large-venue shows in 2015.
Terje is considered one of the biggest innovators and taste-makers in the modern dance music world, and is arguably the king of the Norwegian Disco scene. He has done remixes for a variety of artists, and has DJ’ed at the biggest festivals around the world. His big hit, Inspector Norse, came in 2012, and he has only gotten bigger since. Even if you don’t know his name, you’ve heard his music.
Terje will be playing with his backing band the Olsens, and his shows are always fun, raucous events, complete with great beats, and a great band.
