WATCH: Passion Pit Release New Video For “Where The Sky Hangs”

Watch Passion Pit’s latest cinemagraph-style video featuring a slower tempo song displaying young love at its finest.

Just one day after releasing “Lifted Up (1985),” the lead song from their forthcoming album Kindred, Passion Pit has unveiled another new single. This time, it’s the record’s tertiary track titled “Where The Sky Hangs,” Stereogum reports.

In contrast to the first single’s upbeat and energetic production, “Where The Sky Hangs” features a much slower, relaxed tempo. While still remaining synth-heavy, Passion Pit showcases their ability to take the 80s pop sound and make it their own.

Along with the single came yet another cinemagraph-style video. It follows a continuous storyline of growth and adolescence, starring the same young boy from the first video. This time, instead of his family, he’s flanked by a young girl—possibly a young love interest? The two smile among the leaves of the grass and gaze off into the distant sky as the blissful melody plays in the background.
