Dipset have released the official dates for their highly anticipated reunion tour this Winter.
Dipset, otherwise known as the Diplomats, have been engaged in an on again, off again reunion tour over the last couple of years. 2012 was perhaps the peak of these reunion years, as the hip-hop outfit performed in the Paid Dues Festival and the Rock The Bells Festivals that year. Since that point, the group have been sporadically touring as part of a multi-year reunion tour. This year, Dipset have revealed dates for the Winter 2015 portion of their reunion tour, a tour that will also include a performance at this year’s SXSW festival.
Dipset are a hip-hop group that originally formed in 1997. They went on a bit of a hiatus back in 2009 when it was revealed that the group was experiencing a series of creative tensions that ultimately dissolved the group. They reunited in 2010 and have been performing various reunion tours since the initial reunion. Rumors have been bouncing around about a mixtape and a potential new record, but the rumors have yet to be confirmed by the group. For now, these announced dates are the only thing that has been undertaken by the group this year.
