Yellowcard is an American pop punk/alternative rock band from Florida. Their music consists of the violin which brings a melodic element into their targeted genres. They are well known for their singles “Ocean Avenue,” “Lights and Sounds,” and “Light Up the Sky.”

In 2008 to 2010 the band took a hiatus before returning with their seventh studio album, When You’re Thinking Yes, Say Yes. They followed the album with, Southern Air, in 2012. Their most recent album, Lift a Sail, was released in fall of 2014 and consisted of their single “One Bedroom.” The album went on to produce three additional singles including, “Transmission Home,” “Make Me So” and “Crash the Gates.
