Ariel Pink has released a new video, directed by Grant Singer.
Ariel Pink has released a video for the song “Dayzed Inn Daydream,” directed by Grant Singer. The video follows an aging 70s frontman who travels around LA via bus and performs on stage at a nursing home.
The director stated in a press release,
“It’s the story of a man, played by Rick Wilder, who was once the frontman of a band that existed decades ago. Through a series of scenes depicting his everyday life, we tell his story.”
The song is off Pink’s latest album pom pom, which was released in November. The new album is Pink’s first without his band moniker Haunted Graffiti, and some of the songs were written by The Runaways manager Kim Foley from his hospital bed.
Ariel Pink is currently on tour promoting his latest release, and will be touring through the US in February. You can stream “Dayzed Inn Daydream,” directed by LA filmmaker Grant Singer, below.
