Bjork Announces New Album Vulnicura For March 2015 Release

Bjork has announced a new album on Facebook, along with the albums title tracks.

Pretty Much Amazing has announced that Icelandic pop-star Bjork has announced a new album called Vulnicura, out in March. The album follows Bjork’s 2011 album Biophillia, which was a mashes music and science into an educational app for children.

Vulnicura is the ninth studio album from Bjork, who started her solo career in 1993 with the release of Debut. Her latest album was co-produced by Venezuelan producer Arca, who has worked with Kanye West, and more recently, FKA Twigs.

Earlier this month, it was announced that Bjork would be performing at The Governor’s Ball Music Festival, Bjork’s first live performance since the end of the two-year tour for Biophillia.

Bjork spoke about her new, technology infused song-writing style with Pitchfork stating,

“I can, for the first time, take the patterns and structures in music that I see when I’m writing songs, and touch them. It’s literally making a dream come true. When I write a song, I see a tunnel, and then the chorus is an open space, or the bassline is doing this shape.”

Bjork’s latest album, Vulnicura, will be released sometime in March. A full track list of Vulicura is listed below.
