Wayne Static Benefit Show Announced Featuring Members Of SNOT, Coal Chamber, System Of A Down And Surviving Members Of Static-X

A memorial concert for the late Wayne Static, who was lead vocalist for nu-metal band Static-X, has been planned for January 20 at Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood.

Static passed away on November 1, 2014, just days before he turned 49. The cause of death is still not publicly known, but his family has issued a statement that the death was not due to a drug overdose.

The memorial concert will feature performances by musicians who were friends with Static. SNOT will be playing a few songs, and several members of Coal Chamber, System of A Down and Dope will each perform as well. The remaining members of Static-X will also perform their debut album, Wisconsin Death Trip, in its entirety with a special guest vocalist.
