Matt And Kim Announce New Album And Spring 2015 Tour Dates

Matt And Kim have announced a new album, New Glow, which will be released April 7. They will also be touring in support of their latest LP.

New Glow is the fourth album from the duo, which is comprised of Matt Johnson on vocals and keyboards and Kim Schifino on drums. This is the first new material Matt And Kim have released since 2012’s Lightning.

“Anyone who has seen us knows we love any style of music you can have fun and get wild to. I’m not sure we were able to put that diversity on any of our albums the way we did on New Glow,” says Johnson. “While there are definitely songs that will feel familiar to people who know our stuff, there are also songs like “Get It” which have always been part of who we are but went unrecorded to this point.”

In 2014, the band made the rounds at a number of festivals and events, including the Capitol Hill Block Party, the Silopanna Music Festival, LouFest and the Life is Beautiful Music Festival.
