Bonnaroo 2015 Lineup Announced With Special BLAM Event

This year’s Bonnaroo festival announcement takes a new approach to its lineup: fans are the first ones to know. Take a look at what bands have been announced so far, and how you can participate in the event.

Bonnaroo is doing things a bit differently this year. Rather than sending out a press release with a full list of bands set to perform for its 2015 lineup, organizers want fans to call in to the Bonnaroo phone line to find out which bands will be performing. The event is called BLAM (Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon), and anyone with a phone and a social media account can participate.

Starting today, January 13, from 6 p.m. EST to 9 p.m. EST, fans can call Bonnaroo’s number at 1-844-ROO-2015 to receive the name of one band that will be performing this year. Bonnaroo organizers want every fan to post the band they heard on the phone to one of three social media sites: Instagram, Twitter or Vine.

Follow every new band as they are announced by tuning in right here. We will update the lineup as we get confirmation on new announcements.

Check out the video below for detailed instructions on how you can get involved in the announcements:

This year’s Bonnaroo festival takes place in Manchester, Tennessee from June 11-14. The festival features more than 10 stages, with dozens of artists ranging from big-name headliners to up-and-coming newbies.

The BLAM event comes on the heels of the official ticket sale announcement happening this Saturday, January 17 at noon EST. Tickets go on sale here at this time, and fans choose between two options. General admission tickets get you to all four days of the festival. VIP tickets also get you to all four days of music, but give you the perks of VIP tents and other special offers.

Here is the list of bands confirmed so far for the 2015 lineup. Keep checking in as we update the list. The bands are listed from oldest to most recent, so scroll to the bottom to find the latest announced artists.
