LISTEN: Susanne Sundfor Releases New Song “Delirious”

Susanne Sundfor has released a powerful new track off of her upcoming album, Ten Love Songs, a track which boldly announces her solo presence to the world at large.

Several comments under Susanne Sundfor’s Soundcloud-posted track “Delirious” are drawing parallels between the Norwegian singer/songwriter and ABBA. While the comparison between the two may strike some as off-putting, once one gets into the song, it becomes impossible to disagree. While “Delirious” is very similar to her vocal contributions on Rokysopp and Robyn record, the electro-dance rhythms strike a differential chord from the group. “Delirious” is a beast of an electronic tune, pulsating with a heavy beat and harmonious vocals that supplement the lyrics to perfection. While her role within Royksopp and Robyn is at once tenuous and grounded, Sundfor’s newest single seems to cement an inner desire to establish herself separately from the group, and her musical statement announces her presence like an oncoming invasion force.

Ten Love Songs is due out on February 16th.
