Aesop Rock has released two new songs, “Cat Food” and “Bug Zapper”. Aesop Rock debuted these songs during the first day of his Bestiary Tour with Rob Sonic and DJ Abilities.

Aesop Rock single “Cat Food” was originally released in December. However the song was only available to a limited number who purchased the Aesop Rock x Kid Robot collaborative vinyl toy that it was sold with. “Cat Food” was produced by Blockhead and is currently available for purchase on Itunes. The song has a very casual beat as Aesop Rock raps over the sound. Some of the lyrics from the song states: “You don’t want a meeting on an off-day trading horror stories from the hollows/ The summary is as follows:/ “These hate those and this thinks, that’s absurd”/Yip yap, y’all cats and birds”.
As for the single “Bug Zapper”, it was produced by Aesop Rock. This single has a much more mellow vibe as the hook “Too freaked out to even leave your house” often echoes in the background.
