La Sera Releases Video Game

The LA based singer outfit has released a video game adventure.

Katy Goodman, formerly of Vivian Girls, and currently ensconced in La Sera, has released a video game about getting to a gig. The band, which has been active since 2010, released their first single “Never Come Around” on Halloween 2010. They have subsequently released 3 full length EPs and have been on tour with Father John Misty.

The videogame, called “La Sera is Lost” is text based and described as a “Decide-an-adventure-that-is-all-your-own-fun-time-game”, and follows the concept that La Sera has only 15 minutes to get to the stage at the Echo in Los Angeles, but they can’t find their way to the stage. The game includes references to Katie Crutchfield, of Waxahatchee, as well as many jokes.

The game was allegedly created so that Goodman could practice coding.

It is available for both PC and Mac.

Below is a clip from the game.
