Kitty Releases New Video For “Second Life”

The rapper and internet sensation formerly known as Kitty Pryde has released a new video for another single off of her upcoming EP Frost Bite.

In the two months since Kitty released her single “Miss U”, she has announced new upcoming EP months after her previous EP impatiens initially hit stores. The EP, which will be titled Frost Bite, will primarily feature a variety of dance and/or electro-pop tunes, including “Second Life.”

The “Second Life” video feature a guy vocalizing the words to the song while simultaneously playing the virtual reality version of Second Life. As the video progresses, the lines between reality and virtual reality begin to blur as Second Life begins to creep into real life. The video is primarily shot using images from Downtown Tokyo, which oddly enough pairs nicely with the subject matter of the song. While the lyrical content is similar to other material produced by Kitty, the musical elements of the song take her into newer territory. “Second Life” feels as though it could very well be a J-Pop hit single that got imported into the States.

Kitty got her start by making various music videos and posting them to YouTube. Within a matter of months, she became a hit internet sensation. Her second EP will be released soon.
