S. Carey Announces New Album Supermoon For February 2015 Release

S. Carey has announced a new solo album, Supermoon, which will be released February 17 via JagJaguwar.

S. Carey is known for being the drummer, pianist and backup vocals for the indie folk Bon Iver. He released his first solo album, All We Grow, in August 2010. He had written that material while Bon Iver was on hiatus. In April 2014, S. Carey released his sophomore album Range of Light.

Supermoon is an EP that will contain reworked songs from both of his former solo albums, along with a Radiohead cover.

This past year, S. Carey has also been busy with his latest project involving Bon Iver’s frontman, Justin Vernon, and rapper Astronautalis. The group is called Jason Feathers, and they released their debut album, De Oro, digitally in August but on CD in September.
