In support of A Better Tomorrow, the group is heading across the pond to play shows in London and Glasgow next summer. They will be at the O2 Academy Brixton on June 4th, then the next day they’ll play O2 Academy in Glasgow. Tickets are on sale as of December 17th.

Although Raekwon and RZA recently had a publicized fall-out, the integral pair have once again returned to an amiable terms, and both will share the stage with their fellow Wu-Tang Clan members. The fall-out allegedly had to do with Raekwon’s trepidation regarding the creation of a Wu-Tang album without Ol’ Dirty Bastard, who passed away 10 years ago.

A Better Tomorrow was released on December 2nd. It was more than three years in the making, due to the fact, as GZA had noted, that they “haven’t been on the same page in years”. A lot of the principle recordings took place at the Wu-Tang mansion in New Jersey, where they had recorded in the past during more cohesive circumstances. Rick Rubin and Adrian Younge, along with 4th Disciple, are co-producers on the album with RZA.

One of the singles from A Better Tomorrow, eponymously called “A Better Tomorrow“, deals with the social issues concerning the inequality that plagues the United States Justice System. It is a particularly poignant video, including images from protests across the nation as well as clips from speeches by Barack Obama.

Wu-Tang will play:
London, O2 Academy Brixton (June 4)
Glasgow, O2 Academy (5)

Check out priority ticketing deals, available since December 9nth.
