Father John Misty has released a new song, “Chateau Loby #4 (In C For Two Virgins)”. The song is off his forthcoming album, I Love You, Honeybear which is set for release on February 9 via Sub Pop.
In addition to the release of the new song, Father John Misty has released an accompanying video that was shot by his wife, Emma, on an iPad. The romantic song has a calm vibe on account of the steady strum of the guitar and Father John Misty’s mellow voice.
The accompanying video shows hazy clips of the couple and plays into vibe Father John Misty has created through the song. Blurry scenes of the couple swimming and lounging in bed together are seen as Father John Misty sings, “Stay as long as you want”.
