Screaming Females, Jersey DIY punk rock band, just back from the massive U.S. fall tour, are all into final preparations for the Rose Mountain album release, hitting the stores February 24.
Permanently loyal to Don Giovanni Records, the band has released a third single – now a title album track, “Empty Head,” making a promo video for the whole album release, with lead singer Marissa Paternoster drawing a cartoon-style sketch in the video and the new song playing at the background.
Feeling more mature, trio seems to have possessed much of the sound from 2012 touring with Garbage. With earlier releases of “Ripe” and “Wishing Well,” “Empty Head” is more sophisticated and exalted, just what needed to start a new Screaming Females new album. Listen for yourself.
