The music video is the cherry on a top of a great year for the band, who released their sophomore album Run the Jewels 2 in 2014. That album has landed a top-10 ranking on best-of-the-year lists by Rolling Stone and Paste magazines, while also gaining the title of Album of the Year from Stereogum. Run the Jewels also just finished a North American tour, though they had to cancel their Montreal stop when their bus broke down and the merch trailer caught fire.

The new video has some mesmerizing visuals of colored shapes shifting, like a simple kaleidoscope. It also features the two group members, Killer Mike and El-P, as they take turns rapping over the beat. And of course, there are the aforementioned naked women, who dance and pose almost in silhouette and eventually become distorted, like everything else in the video.

Killer Mike recently made headlines when he made speech about the situation in Ferguson, Missouri, before beginning a show in St. Louis. On the less-political side, the group released a video for “Blockbuster Night Pt. 1” in late November and have begun to plan the making of the crowdfunded Meow the Jewels project. It was recently announced that Run the Jewels will also be playing the Reading/Leeds Festival in the UK in August 2015.
