Just before the release of the sixth studio LP A Better Tomorrow, hip hop legends Wu-Tang Clan have shared the title song with the fans via Soundcloud. And “A Better Tomorrow” is obviously the key song of the album.
The band has made a final announcement last month that the next album is definitely going to happen, and now we are closer to the release date than ever before.
After releasing “Keep Watch,” “Ron O’Neal,” “Ruckus In B Minor” and “Necklace,”, “A Better Tomorrow” is more of retro version of Wu-Tang Clan, sampling Harold Melvin & Blue Notes and Teddy Pendergrass collaboration “Wake Up Everybody,” as reported by Stereogum.
It took the boys seven years to prepare a follow-up to 2007’s LP 8 Diagrams, and now we are expecting something huge. Aware of this, all the releases from the upcoming album give a strong feeling Wu-Tang’s new record, hitting stores December 2, is gonna be a breakthrough.
The other band’s album, Once Upon A Time in Shaolin, will be released in limited edition of just one copy, according to Pitchfork.
Standing in line anticipating to buy Wu-Tang Clan’s upcoming album, enjoy the title song of the record below.
