With even more new music, Jack White keeps it in the family covering yet another talented bandmate in a newly released single.
In the midst of releasing “Would You Fight for My Love?” a 7-inch cut of his latest solo LP Lazaretto and paying tribute to his former keyboardist during London performance, Jack White has come forth with a B-side for the single. This time, he presents a cover of Dean Fertita’s “Parallel,” which emanates a combination of country and bluegrass influences. A touring member of White’s band, the Dead Weather, the Raconteurs, and Queens of the Stone Age, Fertita originally released the song back in 1999 on the debut album of his solo project Hello=Fire.
