Willie Watson, a bluegrass singer songwriter known for his guitar and banjo skills has released his Winter 2015 Tour Dates.
The 9 date North American tour which will go from December 18 to January 27, will hit seven states from California to Massachusetts.
A founding member of the Old Crow Medicine Show, Willie has also performed with the band, The David Rawlings Machine, featuring members of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bright Eyes and David Rawlings himself, who produced Old Crow Medicine Show.
In 2014 he performed solo at many music festivals including SXSW in Austin, TX, the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, CA. and with The Dave Rawlings Machine at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco.
His debut album, Folk Singer, Vol. 1, “stripped down, bluegrass inspired, old-time, mountain country album,” according to mxdwn, was released in May of this year.
