Atari Teenage Riot has announced their new album, Reset, which will be released on February 2015.
Atari Teenage Riot has announced the release of their sixth studio album, Reset, which will be out on February 2015. The album will take the band on a new age but will still retain their arbitrary noise. Band member Alec Empire had previously commented on the band’s sound and how others are following suit. However, the album will be more musically diverse than ever.
It will focus on the media and social media trends in today’s society. The album takes this stance after the exposed revelations by Wikileaks and Edward Snowden. The opening track, “J1M1” will focus on the 24/7 government surveillance. Reset doesn’t just focus on the negative, but will also speak about solutions in an uplifting manner.
Atari Teenage Riot has released the single for “Reset” but the album is yet to be available for purchase.
