The Decemberists are currently finishing up their winter tour. The group has announced dates for their North American tour which is set to take place during the spring. The tour is in support of their album What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World which is set for release on January 20.
The Decemberists tour dates will start in Portland, Oregon. This tour is highly anticipated as it is the first time the band has toured in North America in over three years.
In addition to the announcement about the tour, The Decemberists have also announced a limited edition Black Friday 7” vinyl release for Record Store Day. The vinyl will feature the new album’s singles “Make You Better” and “Fits and Starts”.
