It’s official: one of the biggest festivals in history has the full lineup for its South American branch. Take a look at who will be playing this year’s festivities.
In 2015, Lollapalooza isn’t just a troupe of alternative bands lugging gear around the United States in the sweltering heat. It’s gone from relatively humble beginnings in the 1990s to a giant in the music industry.
The official 2015 Lollapalooza Argentina lineup proves this.
This year’s lineup feature huge names such as Pharrell Williams (who seems to be everywhere lately), Jack White (ditto) and Calvin Harris (soon-to-be everywhere). What began as Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell’s darling has expanded into other countries.
Lollapalooza Argentina is part of the series of Lollapalooza South America shows that are happening this year. The international expansion of the festival began in 2010 in Chile. The Argentinian version of the festival started only last year. This is the second time the festival will be held in Argentina.
Other shows in the South American series include a show scheduled in Chile, and another show scheduled in Brazil. They include many of the same bands as the Argentina show, although there’s some variation between each date of the festival.
Lollapalooza Argentina takes place over two days on March 21 and March 22. Tickets for the event are on sale now, and can be purchased here.
