Brooklyn Rock Lottery Announces Participants Featuring Members Of TEEN, Hot Snakes And Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Brooklyn Rock Lottery is back for its fifth year and will take place on December 6th at Baby’s All Right. The line-up of twenty-five handpicked musicians will include the talents of Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Brian Chase, TEEN’s Teeny Lieberson, and Hot Snakes’ Rick Froberg.

For its’ fifth anniversary, Brooklyn Rock Lottery will take place on December 6th at Baby’s All Right. A total of twenty-five hand picked musicians will make their way to Brooklyn for the yearly event.

Prior to the evening show, each of the twenty-five artists will meet at 10:00AM at the performance venue. Then these volunteers will be separated into five distinct groups determined by a lottery-based chance selection. Afterward, these five groups will be sent to practice at different locations where they have twelve hours to create a band name and come up with three to five songs (with a limit of one cover song). At the end of the day, the groups will return to the venue to perform their creations for the evening’s audience.

So far the Brooklyn Rock Lottery has announced the first fifteen participants, all of whom are listed below.
