Right on time, South by Southwest (SXSW) has announced the first round of artists invited to perform at this year’s SXSW Music Conference and Festival Taking place Tuesday, March 17 – Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Austin, Texas.
The SXSW Music Festival will give the music community an opportunity to get a glimpse into the business acumen of notable industry professionals who have successfully navigated the music world for many years using PanelPicker which was first launched in 2007.
Although this is just a small sample of the wide range of artists and conference panels making their mark, some of the highlighted sessions this year include:
SXSW Interview with The Church; Viva Album Art!; Ladies First: How to be a Woman in Rap Journalism; That Sync-ing Feeling!; The Future of Event Tech; and Getting Royalties from Streaming Music Services.
With over 100 stages of music, SXSW 2015 is the world’s leading music industry event, showcasing the best mix of musical performances from over 2,ooo regional, nation and international acts. Overall its daily panels, networking opportunities, career-building conferences and attendees in general are unmatched. This year’s festival is sponsored by Miller Lite, Sonicbids, Esurance, AT&T, IFC, Mazda, Monster Energy, and The Austin Chronicle.
