WATCH: Foo Fighters And Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen Perform “Stiff Competition” On Letterman

On the fourth night on Letterman, Foo Fighters performed “Still Competition” with Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick.

The band, which announced their five-day residency on David Letterman, continued on in their fourth night by performing “Stiff Competition” alongside Rick Nielsen from Cheap Trick.

Foo Fighters, who also just released their new single “Something From Nothing,” brought out more surprises on their fourth night by having Dave Grohl on the drum set and Taylor Hawkins in the lead, imitating Robin Zander, as reported in Rolling Stone. Nielsen rocked out on a trademark checkboard guitar, rounding out a great performance.

Earlier in the week, the band covered “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath and “Kick It Out” alongside the Wilson sisters. Th e band is continuing on at full speed before their album releases in November. Their HBO show, Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways premiered October 17, which also marked their last day of their Letterman residency.
