Greg Ginn, co-founder of Black Flag, is being accused of child abuse by his ex-wife Marina Ginn, who filed an affidavit in Texas relating to the alleged abuse.
Marina lives in Austin, Texas, and filed an affidavit in nearby Williamson County Texas District Court on October 10. She asked for an Emergency Motion to Modify the Parent-Child Relationship for her two daughters with Ginn, Karis and Isadora, who are 10 and 7 years old respectively.
Claims by Marina include that the girls “live in constant fear” of their dad, so she is concerned about their health and welfare. She alleges that Ginn physically abuses them when he “routinely denies [them] food” so that they do not gain weight, has threatened them with physical abuse and has thrown cups of water in their faces. She is also accusing him of emotional abuse, saying that he whistles at his daughters and calls them “hot.”
Isadora, the younger of the two, was allegedly taken to the hospital on October 7 for stress and anxiety related to the abuse. Marina e-mailed Consequence of Sound to confirm the veracity of the affidavit, but Greg Ginn and his representatives have not commented on the situation.
