TEEN has created a pledge project in an attempt to replace their stolen gear. The group’s gear was stolen from their van, while they were on tour in San Francisco.

While TEEN band members were devastated by the theft of their gear, the group decided to turn to fans in their time of need. In a letter the group said, “Most of our gear was stolen, including a very rare ’79 Fretless P-Bass, a Gibson Les Paul, a Roadworn P-Bass, and three cases filled with various pedals we have collected over the years (Moogs, Micro-synths, expression pedals, etc.)”
The group went on to say, “We have been on tour for six weeks in a minivan packed to the gills. The gear that was stolen was precious and in some cases very rare – an essential part of our analog sound. But as they say – the show must go on! We have three more weeks ahead of us and so we are asking our dearest friends, family and fans to give however they can. Your pledge will help us replace what was stolen.”
For the pledge, TEEN created twelve pledge levels to motivate fans to help with their cause. With every pledge level, fans will receive an access pass which gives fans access to videos, music, behind the scene photos, and private updates.
Fans that pledge $50 will get a social media shout out. Pledges of $75 will get fans a handwritten lyric sheet of a song of the fan’s choice. Pledges of $150 will allow fans the opportunity to go backstage to interact with the band during a concert.
