Morrissey’s Band Wears Controversial “Fuck Harvest” T-Shirts On Stage

It seems as though the feud between Morrissey and his “former” label Harvest is still ongoing, made all the more evident by the “Fuck Harvest” T-shirts that Morrissey and his backing bandmates boldly advertised during an October 7 concert.

Morrissey and Harvest Records have had an acrimonious relationship ever since the release of the former Smiths frontmans newest record World Peace Is None Of Your Business. On one side, Morrissey claims that the label “botched” the release of the record and that label executives took offense to the lyrical content of the record, failing to adequately promote the record accordingly. On the other, Harvest records has stated numerous times that they haven’t dropped Morrissey from the label and that the record itself was fine effort from Morrissey. More surprising than the singers blatant anti-Harvest stance has been his recent confirmation that he has been undergoing recent cancer treatments, which have sparked concern and interest from Smiths and Morrissey fans alike.

Perhaps in mock response to the shirts, Harvest has begun selling the shirts on their own website, adding new economic twist to the feud. Currently, Morrissey has had little to nothing to say about the labels efforts to sell the shirts. As of the time of this writing, it appears as though Morrissey is still officially signed to Harvest Records.
