In honor of their new album which will soon be released, the Foo Fighters will spend all of the upcoming week playing on the Late Show With David Letterman.
Foo Fighters newest album called Sonic Highways is set to be released November 10th. The eight songs on the album were recorded in the famous studios of eight different cities. The band also made an HBO series out of it with the name of the album for the title. The series will show the Foo Fighters recording the album, but also will supposedly shed light upon the various musical histories of each of the cities. It will debut on Friday October 17.
You can see the American Rock band performing on David Letterman’s talk show starting on Monday October 13 through Friday October 17. Special guests will be joining them every night, although the names of these guests have yet to be revealed. To read more about this go to stereogum.
The band will be performing at the upcoming Rock Im Park Festival, as well as the Rock Am Ring Festival next June.
On November 11, Foo Fighter band member Dave Grohl will be performing among many other popular artists at the Veterans Day Concert for Valor. The concert honoring and appreciating veterans and their families will be held at the National Mall and shown on HBO at 7p.m. ET/4p.m. PT.
