South By So What?! Festival Announces 2015 Lineup Featuring Atreyu, Invent, Animate And Hatebreed

It’s not SXSW, and it’s not in Austin, Texas, but it’s close.

This year’s South By So What?! Festival continues to do what it’s done every year since its formation: give you the best of the best bands from SXSW, all for the price of one admission ticket.

The festival began in 2008 as an option for fans to check out some of the best acts from the more-famous SXSW Festival without breaking bank. Rather than rummaging for spare change in the couch and cutting $5 mocha triple lattes from your diet to pay for a weekend SXSW pass, you can head to South By So What?! instead.

The 2015 lineup is huge, and it isn’t even finished yet. Festival coordinators will announce more bands to the official lineup on the first of every month for the next two months. The final lineup will be announced on December 15.

South By So What?! 2015 will take place in Grand Prairie, Texas on March 20 through March 22. Fans can choose between three pass versions. The general admission ticket gets you to all three days of shows for $139. The next step up, the VIP pass, gets you all three days of shows, plus a t-shirt, poster and access to VIP rooms for $199. The highest admission price will cost you $299 for the elite pass. The elite pass gets you into all shows, all of the VIP perks and VIP lot parking, among other perks not yet announced.
