WATCH: George Harrison Honored In Tribute Concert Featuring Brian Wilson, The Strokes And Weird Al Yankovic

This September honored George Harrison in many ways, the biggest of which was George Fest.

George Fest is just what it sounds like: a musical festival tribute to the late Beatles’ member, George Harrison. The fest followed the release of a box set of Harrison’s first solo albums, including previously unreleased live recordings and demos- George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-1975. Also leading up to the fest, Conan O’Brien had a week long series of Harrison covers on his show.

The festival took place at LA’s Fonda Theatre, and had an all-star guest list in addition to the great lineup; Weezer and The Strokes were among those in attendance.

Check out the covers below. “My Sweet Lord” by Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, “What Is Life” by “Weird Al” Yankovic, “Old Brown Shoe” by Conan O’Brien, “Got My Mind Set On You” by Brandon Flowers of The Killers, and “Art of Dying” by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
