Weezer released a new song titled, “Lonely Girl” which will be featured in their upcoming album that will be released in early October.
“Lonely Girl” will be one of the tracks featured in their ninth album, “Everything Will Be Alright In The End.”
The band recently announced they will be playing each song from their newest release at their upcoming fall shows. “Lonely Girl” is true to Weezer’s sound. It features their fun, rock beats while delivering their signature catchy lyrics. Fans can have faith that this tune showcases Weezer in the element that they know well.
River Cuomo mentioned to NME that the new album will feature the same rock sound they’ve always had and will stick to what the band knows best and not trying to follow the crowd.
Maybe no one will appreciate it that way but we think that it’s what our core fans really want from us and that’s what we’re best at.
They released their second single “Cleopatra” from the album earlier in September but fans won’t have to wait much longer to get Weezer’s newest tracks.
