This week, Breach has premiered a new single via social media sites that features Kelis, the American soul singer behind “Rumble”. Their new track, entitled “The Key”, will be released on November 16th, 2014, via Big Beat Records.
Breach, aka Ben Westbeech, found success with his 2013 summer dance smash hit, ‘Jack’, and he followed that ‘Everything You Never Had (You Had It All)’, another UK Top 10 hit.
Following releases on his own label, and an appearance on a DJ compilation album, Westbeech has garnered major support from fellow DJs, musicians, and radio personnel. His music has been in heavy rotation on the radio and on the dance floors of clubs. And, He even landed on the cover of DJ Mag, a move that embedded Breach at the forefront of UK dance music.
This new single is a re-worked version of Kelis’s hit single, “Rumble”, from her sixth LP Food. She spent considerable time in the studio working to revamp the song with Breach, according to a press release. It features layers of synthesized sounds and pneumatic beats.
