Something big is happening around Kendrick Lamar‘s forthcoming LP! Just after releasing a single ‘i’, Kendrick made an appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Power 106 Radio Station morning show performing a six-minute freestyle over a few well-known beats. And that’s a good chunk of freestyle, we must say.
Watching Kendrick ‘putting together verbose couplet after verbose couplet while chilling and laughing in the studio’, as said by prettymuchamazing.com, is pretty amazing, so as watching Big Boy’s hilarious response.
Talking about the upcoming record, the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Good Kid, M.A.A.D City,’ Kendrick says he’s OK with seven songs, the rest is up in the air. That leaves us waiting, as both the release date and the track list are to be announced. Luckily, in the meantime Lamar is up for classy collaborations, like ‘Never Catch Me’ featuring Flying Lotus and performing ‘Radioactive’ remix at Grammy’s with Imagine Dragons.
