LISTEN: Graveyard Club Releases New Song “Into The Dark”

Out of St. Paul Minnesota, Graveyard Club, comprised of Matthew Schufman (vocals, keys) and Michael Wojtalewicz (guitar), Cory Jacobs (drums) and Amanda Zimmerman (bass, backing vocals) have released a new track, “Into the Dark.” The song is the second track off of their first full length album, Nightingale, due out September 30th.

The nostalgic and golden voiced chorus blazes through the fields of quick patter drums and tinkling guitar riffs for an overall pleasing tune. The press release describes the track that “recalls catchy 80’s pop with a tinge of darkness along the lines of Wild Nothing and The Cure.” The band cites 50’s crooners, 80’s new wave and modern day dream pop bands as influences to their blended and youthful sound.

Since the release of their EP “Sleepwalk”, the quartet has been focused on writing and recording their upcoming first full length album. This song provides a sneak peek of the darkly nostalgic yet shimmery shine of Graveyard Club.
