Indie rock band Manchester Orchestra from Atlanta, Georgia, is stopping in Austin to play the Historic Scoot Inn with Chris Staples. Manchester Orchestra has three studio albums, I’m Like a Virgin Losing a Child, Mean Everything to Nothing, Simple Math, and Hope. The group is currently signed to Favorite Gentlemen Recordings. Earlier this month, the band released their latest album, Hope, which was a re-imaging of Cope.
Manchester Orchestra has been the featured performance on multiple television shows, including four appearances on Late Night with David Letterman, Late Night with Connor O’Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Their songs have been played in shows, such as 90210, Gossip Girl, Skins and One Tree Hill.
Maniac Magazine reviewed one of Manchester Orchestra’s performances and stated, “Manchester Orchestra…unbelievable and impressive show. The band will continue to see massive success for some time to come, that’s for damn sure.” Manchester Orchestra will be promoting their new album, Hope, on their headlining national tour.
